What is The Mountain Cash Back?

Though The Mountain already offers highly discounted products, it’s always good to have additional cost-saving opportunities, right? That’s what you can get with The Mountain cashback – a system of returning a certain percentage from your purchases at The Mountain to your wallet. Yes, that’s real money – not some The Mountain cashback bonus that you can only spend for subsequent purchases in this store, but hard cash that you can use for any other purposes.

How Does The Mountain Cashback Works?

The Mountain cashback: sounds simple enough, but how simple is it? The definition of cashback states that it’s literally a cash rebate, but where does this money come from? It comes from promotional deals between third-party sites and The Mountain. These promos are paid in the form of cash to the cashback site and then transferred to you. These cashback sites feature clickable links that direct traffic to the main The Mountain website, which in turn rewards the site. Want more The Mountain cashback deals? We'll explain some The Mountain rebate deals and offers next.

After this is done, your purchase will need to be approved by The Mountain, which can take between 10 and 30 days. After approval, the cash is transferred to the cashback site you used and then sent to you within 24-48 hours. Most of the time, it is required to have a minimum amount before you can withdraw your earnings.

The Mountain Cash Back Calculator

The cashback calculator is available in some cashback services (for example, SecretDiscounter) on the page of each store and allows you to quickly calculate the amount of cash back that will be returned after a purchase. However, to calculate the cashback, the calculator uses the maximum store rate, and if the store has several rates for different categories of goods, the calculator takes into account the largest one.

Looks like The Mountain has gone bust

Looks like The Mountain has gone bust. I ordered 2 months ago, $150 order. Never shipped. Lots of excuses from customer services. Now they won't reply and their website is down.

Don't buy here!

I bought some shirts from this company a few months ago. They only sent me two of the three shirts I ordered, without message in the box, nothing. It was only after I reached out to the customer service a week later that they refunded me for the missing shirt that was evidently sold out. Because everybody deserves a second chance, I ordered a bundle of two sweatshirts FOUR weeks ago, and they are not even shipped yet! I reached out multiple times to the customer service and they keep telling me 'to be patient'. More than four weeks to ship an order has nothing to do with being patient, it means you're selling something you're not able to deliver. I will never order from this company again. I feel scammed.

It's alright. Could have been better

It's alright. The cotton shirts I enjoyed acceptably, but then I decided to try their Triblend shirts consisting of 55% cotton, 25% rayon, 20% polyester. The expectation was cut short honestly. I would mind a margin error of 5% in relation to the photos they showed of how the shirt looks, but I simply feel disappointed after receiving it in person. The Triblend shirts don't look as good as the photo or even near it in comparison to the cotton shirts. They do feel comfortably and lighter, but what image you represent as the product you sell should also reflect in person when purchased and received. And for the higher price I expected better.

Heavy 100% cotton, beautiful graphics exactly as pictured.

Just got my fourth mailorder from The Mountain. I started buying for the graphics and was very pleased to find they are high quality heavyweight shirts, not the thin half polyester stuff that is increasingly the norm. The graphics have all been perfect and exactly as seen in the ad photos. My first Mountain shirts were bought in an actual store; I still have them after more than 10 years, they are still in good shape and I still wear them. I've never had a graphic crackle or chip off even after 10 years of washing. One time there was a problem with something I ordered (ended up out of stock), and their customer service responded to my query immediately. They also have frequent sales and deals. By far the best teeshirt company I've ever bought from; I highly recommend.

No longer a good company

This used to be a company that sold quality products. Last year I ordered a couple t-shirts at $30 a pop. These were honestly the same quality you would find at the dollar store. They advertise no Plastisol...bullcrap. These shirts were covered in it to the point of flaking. So I gave them another chance. It took them almost a month to send me a mug I ordered. Lo and behold, it arrives poorly packaged and broken. Quelle suprise. We'll see how long it takes them to respond. Mail order companies in the 80s had a better response rate than these fools.
