I ordered a METAL HAMMER issue on a website, and it was my first experience with that website. The delivery to Germany took 4 weeks, and despite that there was only sheer plastic wrapping the item was not damaged. It would be better if there was some email about the shipping in addition to the order confirmation, to ensure that the order was sent. But overall I have nothing to complain about, and will definitely order there again.
Great value and my magazine (How it Works) has always arrived on time. Ive had no difficulties in the years ive been a subscriber and always experienced a responsive customer service.
𝗜 ordered two Metal Hammer magazines and I’ve had radio silence for 𝗔 month. 𝗜 got 𝗔 email saying money was taken and that my order was confirmed but 𝗜 don’t know if they’ve shipped or if 𝗜 need to do anything else. 𝗜 emailed them 𝗔 day ago and got the bot reply but nothing else yet. 𝗜 hope to receive my magazines at some point soon but by the looks of it that may not happen. 𝗜 paid about $30 for both of them and I’d like to have the magazines or 𝗔 refund. Also, do they not have 𝗔 shipping number for tracking or?? Edit: everything was situated and 𝗜 received the magazines in pretty good condition. The posters not so much but other than that it was great :)
I have just spoken with the very helpful Eline in Customer Services and they apologised for a glitch in the system which meant my father missed a couple of copies. She could not have been more helpful and he and I are most grateful for the professional and excellent response. Thank you.
I ordered before reading the bad reviews and it took 4 1/2 weeks (that's the reason I give 4 and not 5 stars) but I got my Metal Hammer Within Temptation Bundle in flawless condition. I don't know if they changed and got better or if I was just lucky, so I recommend paying with PayPal, that way if you have problems and their customer service doesn't respond or they're not willing to refund, you get your money back from PayPal.
