HYPER Tracking Order Status

UPDATED REVIEW: I was one of the first backers of this charger, and I think maybe either my one was dud or the early batches were no good. I bought it for travel, and due to lockdown barely used it. When I tried it this year, the USB-A ports werent working at all, and the USB-C would cut in and out. Also the unit got really hot when plugged in, and my laptop would behave strangely when being charged by it. Hyper - as seen in their response, after initially telling me to buy a unit, have sent me a new unit. The new one so far is working perfectly with all ports, and gets nowhere near as hot as the first version I got. So - the company pulled through in the end, and the charger itself, so far is very good.

I find that their products are very mediocre, it seems like a lot of American companies these days just bulk buy products from AliExpress, rebrand them and resale them for triple the amount. My hyperdrive for the iPad Pro stopped working, I emailed customer service with my proof of purchase and an image that clearly shows the Blue LED light was not working. Tried multiple times, the person I spoke to asked me to send them their product back but I’d already Thrown away the defect product out of frustration (my fault obv). But all she gave in return was a measly “15%” off which is nothing. Do not waste your time and money on this company.

I've bought several products (USB-C hubs & battery packs) for my friends and family over their holiday sale, and everyone loves them! With our current work from home situation, these are a WFH essential. I bought the new DUO 7-in-2 hub for myself and it's super efficient. Unlike other hubs in the market, this one has a magnetic grip so there's a secure hold, and it comes with a USB-C cable so I can use it with my iPad if I’m not on my MacBook. The 4K 60Hz HDMI is crystal clear and the 100W USB-C PD works like a charm. 10/10 would recommend.

Terrible After Sales. They only write back as long as there are no real problems to solve. I was told I'd get a free cable with my charger, but it wasn't shipped. Afterwards I sent an email to follow up and there was no response. Two further emails were sent and it was clear that I was being ignored. They truly don't spend any efforts on customers who have already paid. I would suggest to go with a more established firm, like Anker, who aren't just looking for a quick buck and actually care about retaining customers. PLEASE AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SANITY!

In November 2019, I ordered a Hyperdrive USB-C Charging Hub and a Hyperdrive Wireless Car Charger from Hyper based on good reviews of their products. After ordering, the product took 6 weeks to arrive, most of which time I received no updates on the status of the order. When I received the products I quickly realised that the car charger did not hold my phone securely in its cradle. When I drive, the phone jostles along and rattles as I go over minor bumps in the road. The charging function works fine, but it is very irritating to have the phone constantly making noise. I was initially happy with the USB-C hub which worked ok for a few weeks. Last Monday I arrived back in the office and none on the connected peripherals worked, and pass-through charging was no longer available. I had to send a video of the problem to Hyper to prove that the product was faulty. Once their team verified that the product was faulty, they informed me that I needed to pay for postage to return it to them. I can only assume that the replacement will take another 6 six weeks to arrive, and I have little confidence that the new product will meet my needs. I have also purchased a GaN Charger from them which is now over a month late and I have no idea when it will arrive. I realise now that I should have chosen products from a more established company I would avoid purchasing from Hyper as I don't believe that they have quality products, a reliable supply chain, or empathy when it comes to customer service.
