Ontzettend tevreden met mijn aankoop

Ondanks alle reacties hier, ben ik eigenlijk ontzettend blij met mijn aankoop! Onze stofzuig/dweil combinatie is al maanden lang een geweldige aanvulling binnen ons huishouden en we hebben er nog geen enkel probleem mee gehad, terwijl we hem toch wel bijna dagelijks gebruiken!

schnelle, gute Hilfe vom Support

Unser j7 ist vor 4 Wochen aus dem WLAN geflogen da es hier zu einem Adressen konflikt kam und unser heimnetz zusammenbrach. Der Roomba flog auch aus meinem Konto in der App raus und ein hinzufügen war unmöglich, da die Kindersicherung / Haustiersicherung aktiv geschaltet war. Bei 2 Katzen eine gute Idee. Den Support angeschrieben und in der 1ten mail stand nichts drin was wir nicht schon versucht hatten. Bei der 2ten mail dann ein Link wie man über den Rommba selbst die Sicherung deaktivieren kann. Dies brachte den gewünschten Erfolg und der Roomba konnte gestern wieder erfolgreich zum Konto in die App und somit wieder zum laufen gebracht werden.

Binnen 3 maanden loopt de irobot i5+ na 1,5 minuut steeds vast. Vanmiddag de klantenservice gebeld, fijn dat ik mijn nummer achter kon laten zodat ik terug gebeld werd. De wachttijd zou 20 minuten zijn maar ik werd na 1.5 uur terug gebeld. Die arme medewerker zat daar in z'n eentje. Wat heb je dan een slechte werkgever. Deze meneer verdient een beter loon en fatsoenlijke pauzes en tijd om te drinken!! Maargoed, ik moest een mailtje sturen met mijn gegevens en de factuur zodat ze mij een onderdeel kunnen toesturen dus wordt vervolgd....

I love my 2 iRobot’s however one of them required service which wasn’t much of a problem EXCEPT customer service would not provide me with a return label. Instead I was expected to take the defective product to UPS who in turn would charge “ me” to prepare the return. NOPE!! Customer should NOT pay to return defective products!

Much better after extensive troubleshooting and initial pain

Update 2 First of all, I should make a comment about customer support. In the last 3-4 weeks they have been very helpful and responsive, and have provided some very useful advice beyond the generic "place it with 3ft either side in the centre of the house" It has now reliably built up a map, and the vacuuming runs are much better. Here is what I did to achieve this improvement: - put it on my IOT WiFi that is 2.4GHz only, with no access to rest of network, only internet - changed the cleaning mode from everywhere twice to just once. Where before it would regularly run out of charge and require multiple charging sessions, it now completes everything on a single charge. It's much more reliable as a result. If need be, I'll just schedule two runs daily. - Changed the favourite setup. Instead of toggling the "Clean Everywhere" option to on, I left it off, and specified every room manually. Bizarrely if you toggle the "Clean Everywhere" option, it doesn't make any attempt to match against the rooms, so the end map just has "Unknown" in every room. By specifying all the rooms individually in the favourite, all the room names are correct in the map. Apparently this is "as designed" according to support, because the clean everywhere is designed for one-off cleans of a different floor. Not very intuitive, and not explained anywhere in the app, but at least I know how to make it work now. It does still wedge itself under the furniture from time to time, but I think I can remedy that with some bumper extenders. Shouldn't be necessary, but if it solves the problem, I'm OK with that. Finally, now it is working reliably, the cleaning is very good. You do have to keep on top of keeping the sensors clean - particularly the bin full sensor, but it's not a big deal. Update. Just did factory reset and paired with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi in case that helped. Mapping run 1. Only mapped 1/2 the house in spite of the floor being clear and all the doors open. Mapping run 2. It did a very thorough run of all the house. Returned to the dock. Gave a triumphant jingle. No map created. Customer service do respond, but the response is always the same “Is the docking station clear of obstructions and in a central location” no matter what the problem. Here’s a list of issues: - takes multiple trips to get a working map. It never updates that map. But because it’s taken so long to get that barely acceptable map you daren’t try and create a better one. - cleaning is random. Sometimes it enters a room, looks around, does a robotic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ of its shoulders and exits the room. Sometimes it cleans half of a room then gives up. - it says it’s stuck. You look for it and find it in the middle of the floor with no obstructions anywhere. - when you get an error message alert, you click on it but it always takes you to a totally irrelevant page in the app, telling you about the Yonomi service. - regularly tells you it can’t empty the bin. - takes about 5hrs to clean a moderate sized house, with multiple trips back to the base to recharge, and no way to find out what it’s done so far. - naming the rooms is a laugh, because after the cleaning is complete, they’re often all marked as Unknown. That’s if it bothers to even create a map. A fair number of times there’s no map at all. - it regularly wedges itself under radiators and can’t get out. Here are our last 10 cleans: 11hr22mins. Stuck multiple times. Reporting itself as stuck again now. It’s actually on the base! 21mins Cancelled - Unknown labels in rooms. Was “stuck” the middle of the floor. 5hr 16 mins Cancelled - Unknown labels in rooms. Got fed up waiting for it to finish 40 mins. Stuck. Robot rebooted. It was in the middle of the floor and not stuck. No map. 3hr44mins. Incomplete. Localisation problem. Rooms correctly labelled. 1hr 13 mins. Cancelled. Was “stuck” in the middle of a nearly empty room. Rooms correctly labelled. 35 minutes. Incomplete. Path blocked. Yet it managed to get back to the dock. 1 room cleaned 4hrs19mins. Complete. Woohoo. Oh. Did a brief pirouette in the middle of the living room and missed most of the kitchen. 1hr16mins. Complete. Except it only did about 1/3. And it invented some completely new rooms. And only correctly labelled 1/2 3hr56mins. Stuck. No map. So there you go. Utterly useless. Requires constant babysitting and simply can’t be relied on to do the job.
