Ocado Tracking Order Status

Been using Ocado for four years every week and it’s generally very good .Lovely drivers and exceptional customer service . It’s been great. Almost no issues with the regular shop in four years is impressive. However I had a really poor experience at Xmas ,key items missing and issues with pricing . They did acknowledge my experience was unacceptable apologized and sent a voucher which was appreciated. However just had notification re my Easter delivery no roast lamb joint (not even a substitution offered )and Easter eggs not available.And I’m cross about that as had opportunity to buy these in store but thought easier to order .Ive ordered early as well so I’m baffled how these items are not available .Ive had repeated emails in the last few weeks urging me to get my Easter order in to avoid disappointment. Well I did get my order in early and guess what ??Im disappointed. Will keep up the regular orders as they are generally hassle free but will definitely go elsewhere for Christmas and Easter in future.

Review is based on first order. All went well but what has prevented 5 stars is the contact afterwards. As a new customer I feel a bit bombarded by ocado. I don't mind being left a text or email to leave feedback and or fill in a questionnaire but I was left a text. Then sent a questionnaire via email which I responded to then had someone call me 3 days later. Not only that but its clear the delivery guys are taught to learn a long script of explaining details of the delivery process. The driver did a great job of this but i bet its tiring for them and honestly seems unnecessaryfor the customer when this info can be included in a text or email regarding my delivery. Or even slip a leaflet in the first shop explainingthe details. today in middle of the day received a call as mentioned, wanting o chat about my order and services provided. The extra info given was already sent to me via marketing emails which I get regularly as well as text messages. He call interrupted my day during work hours. I'm not sure if other customers like this kind of thing and understand ocado are trying to be helpful but I find it off-putting personally. I just want to do my grocery shopping without too much contact and conversations regarding the experince. It was the call today which just felt too far after all the other contact already. Customers will contact if they need to and the text and emails for feedback is enough. It all feels like a lot. I also think it must be costing a lot of money having call centres ringing first time customers unnecessarily amd taking time away from helping customers on the phone who need support.

Had my first order with Ocado today and will definitely be ordering again. I had a £25 off first order voucher so thought I would try as that is a large saving especially in todays climate. The reviews were not great but wanted to see for myself and I am so glad I did. The delivery was on time with the app keeping me updated of this. The delivery driver was so helpful and friendly and gave me lots of information about the items I had ordered and the bag policy as well as the refund and replacement items policy. After unpacking all of my items I checked them over and was really pleased as they all looked fresh and well packaged. All in all a really good experience and great value and will definitely be using them again. Thank you Ocado and I would like you to pass on my thanks to the delivery driver!

I'm a bit late to the party in terms of food delivery but they literally saved me after having a baby. Everything was always on time and super easy, great selection. Sometimes the produce isn't that amazing but otherwise great.
