Shutterfly Tracking Order Status

While the product is ok (not great, but ok), the low rating is due to relentless daily/multiple a day email advertisements. Completely inappropriate for any company! I unsubscribed from all communications several times and still receive these spam emails daily. Shutterfly, I was ok to receive occasional emails, but this is not ok! I had to block Shutterfly completely in my email to stop this spam assault. If your goal is to lose a customer - this is a good way to do it.

The first problem with printing pictures at Shutterfly is that the color is off, towards the brown and more muted. For some pictures that's OK or even good, and I consider it when I choose pictures to print. The second problem is that I can print cards only using the aspect ratio that Sutterfly defines. Aspect ratio matters: some pictures look better wide and narrow and some short and fat and Shutterfly could perfectly well print in black or leave the paper white and preserve the aspect ratio. But it provides no way to do that. That's a problem of functionality. The worst problem of Shutterfly is that the user interface is a nightmare. I'm not a computer dummy. I worked in the computer field from 1970 to 1995 and participated in user interface design. Every time I use Shutterfly I spend more time figuring out how to do what I want than doing it. Why do I keep using it every Christmas? It's cheap and I haven't found anything better.

Sampling Shutterfly AI is the most stimulating activity I've enjoyed. Better than a game, you get art. It's arguable whether Art issues from a machine, isn't it? The Shutterfly machine is amazing, talented, colorful, practically infinite in its ability to emulate ideas that may be forming in your head. It takes suggestion without any complaint, and makes the changes that you describe when apparently it senses there could be more expression. It will prompt you and ask you would you like to do this or that to your creation? I look forward to learning other kinds of AI, but I'm satisfied with the starter edition of Shutterfly, and I will highly recommend it to everyone I know. That said, what does my title mean? I've created 27 projects over the past 15 years on Shutterfly. This includes 15 different photo books. Each and every time, I've always received excellent, professional customer service and beautiful books. I custom design all my books. There may have been a couple of times over the years that I needed Shutterfly to help with a mistake. However, they stand behind there products 100%. If you aren't an experienced design person then ask for help. Use high quality photos!!! Remember Shutterfly didn't take the pictures. The photo quality of books and cards depend on what you upload. Low quality photos will create poor quality projects; so don't blame Shutterfly for your photos. They will make what you approve. Start your project early enough to allow for help and receive book in ample time in case the book or cards need to be possibly replaced if it's the direct fault of Shutterfly.

I ordered calendars with family pictures for my family, and uploaded high quality images and spent a long time on the layout, and it looked really nice online. When I received them, I was devastated to see how low the print quality is. I am quite disappointed. I went with shutterfly because I made a few photobooks with them a few years ago and they were quite good quality. The quality seems to have really gone downhill! The photos seem to be kind of low contrast and my daughter's skin looks like raw meat in some of them. I won't be ordering again, I got a much better calendar from Vista Print last year.
