Skagen Tracking Order Status

My experience with Skagen watches has been nothing short of remarkable. From their elegant and minimalist design to their outstanding craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability, Skagen sets a high standard in the watch industry.

Stylish watches. I’m into mechanical automatic watches but couldn’t resist the look of a £70 Skagen watch a few years back. Worn it on and off for 3 years (I rotate my watches) but Alas the battery to this quartz eventually went 3 years on as about expected. No probs, time to change the inexpensive battery. The back was tough to prise open but easily fitted new battery. Could I get the back, back on? No! In trying to do so, I cracked the lens glass. Gutted. Never have I known such a challenging watch to secure the back, back on. Impossible without specialist press equipment. I service my own watches but even Omega and Rolex 300metre water resistant don’t have this issue. Now my watch is beyond economical repair. I am utterly disappointed! They clearly design their watches this way to generate more revenue but unnecessary cost to the average watch wearer. A short sighted method that I’m sure will lead to a loss in sales over a fairly short period of time. Well done Skagen, I will not be buying one of your watches again …

Seeing all the bad reviews here by accident (Googling "how long do Skagen watches last?"), I felt compelled to recount my experience. I've had my Skagen for at least 6 years during which time I've lost it at a festival - got trampled on, needed a new strap - worn it in the bath - it's OK, it's waterproof! It's stylish and understated looking, goes with everything, and shows no sign of stopping. What's not to like?

Jeg er godt tilfreds med mine Skagen ure. Har 3 stk. Konen har 1 og sønnen har også Kan ikke genkende problemerne med glassene, som andre skriver. Mine ure er på armen til lidt af hvert. Ikke haft ridser eller lignende. Eneste anke er læderremmene. De holder ikke ret lang tid. Man kan dog købe læder remme fra andre firmaer, som passer og er billigere end de originale.

Meine Frau hat sich zu Weihnachten ein Schmuckset ausgesucht. Beim Ring hat sich von der Kunstperle nach 2 Wochen die Beschichtung abgelöst. Da dieser zum Set passte, wollten wir eine Reparatur bzw. einen Ersatzring. In Summe hat dieser Tausch mehr als 3 Monate gedauert und meine Frau hat sich am Ende einen Alternativring ausgesucht. Der Service war i.d.R. freundlich, die Umsetzung und Ausführung war katastrophal. Bei Fossil funktionieren offensichtlich keine Prozesse und Systeme. Ich gebe zwei Sterne, weil wir am Ende ein Ersatzprodukt bekamen, aber in Zukunft werden wir hier nicht mehr bestellen.
